The Mehndi Party (also known as Henna Party or Mendhi Night) is now seen as the most fun aspect of a traditional Asian wedding. Mendhi parties are becoming very popular these days and often a large major pre wedding event in itself. In the past this was only for the ladies in the family, but today everyone close to the family is invited. The Mehndi party is often held one or two nights before the wedding.
